English Estates Elementary is continuing the successful leadership program, Leadership is Elementary. All English Estates students and staff will learn the seven habits as described in Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. The 7 Habits are 1) Be Proactive, 2) Begin with the End in Mind, 3) Put First Things First, 4) Think Win-Win, 5) Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood, 6) Synergize, 7) Sharpen the Saw. The habits emphasize personal responsibility and personal leadership, respect for others, and the most effective classroom practices. The habits are included in everything we do as a school. We will also continue to implement effective business practices to improve our systems and procedures. Students and staff use thinking tools to analyze progress and improve instruction. We will use many of the Baldrige tools and principles to continuously improve our practices. Please find below documents we use in the classrooms and have used in our presentations.
