It's a Reading Celebration!

Lake Mary Elementary is getting ready to read our way to the Book Fair Luau! Our Spring Book Fair is right around the corner. Come visit and find many new books for students and families to read! Mark your calendar for our Family Event
Thursday, Feb. 9th (Hawaiian Costume Contest, Prizes, and a visit from Clifford the Big Red Dog!)
where you are sure to have a fun filled evening. We will also have extended shopping hours on Tuesday, Feb 7th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
(Poster Raffle and Talent Contests) The Book Fair is a great way to get everyone excited about reading. See you there!

Kindergarten Registration
2012-2013
Lake Mary Elementary School will hold kindergarten registration on
Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and again from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Attendance Office across from our Front Office. Please look under the
Parent Information Tab
to read the document that will be going home in our next Flipper Flash from Mrs. Peacock for what documentation you will need to register your child. If you need any additional information, please call 407-320-5650.

Where Reading Is Out Of This World!!! |
We enjoyed seeing Mrs. Peacock as our alien. She's been getting fuel for her rocket by all of the children reading. We now have 624,255 minutes toward our goal. Keep reading during the winter break so we can reach our 1 million minutes!

Important Parent Information Regarding Lunch |
Parents, below is the scheduled day for you to have lunch with your child. If you wish to have lunch on another day not scheduled for that grade, you must send a note requesting the lunch date
three days
prior to the date. Your request will be given to Mrs. Peacock for approval.
Kindergarten - Monday
1st Grade - Tuesday
2nd Grade- Wednesday
3rd Grade - Thursday
4th/5th Grade- Friday |

Parents and Businesses
Our school collects printer cartridges, box tops, old cell phones and Campbell Soup labels. Please don't hesitate to stop by and drop off these items at our schools. We thank you!
