Dear CLES families,

Happy 2012 to you all!  We hope this year brings much joy and many successes to everyone.  Students and staff at Crystal Lake are hard at work with lessons focused on the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.  FCAT testing will be here before we know it for grades 3-5.  A general schedule and some on-line, at-home resources have been provided below.  If you would like more information about the upcoming FCAT tests, please mark your calendar for our FCAT Parent Night on Wednesday, February 8^th from 6-7pm in the CLES media center.  Hope to see you there!

Boosterthon is returning soon to Crystal Lake…mark your calendars for this fun-filled, annual family event.  Students will be learning leadership lessons and taking pledges that will culminate in a Fun Run event on Wednesday, February 1^st.  Parents are invited to come out to support and cheer on their child(ren).  Last year’s Boosterthon event enabled the Crystal Lake PTA to provide beautiful new playground equipment.  We hope this year’s Boosterthon will be an even greater success as funds raised will go towards new technology resources for our classrooms.
